Orchard Place is proud to announce that it has received $150,000 in funding to further help Iowa’s kids. Funding will be utilized to develop critical mental health crisis service for youth. More than 20 community partners are working with Orchard Place to provide well substantiated but unaddressed intervention services.

Work on a comprehensive plan for this project began July 1.

“Addressing the needs of children and youth in mental health crisis just took a giant step forward. We are deeply grateful for the support from The Community Foundation, Mid-Iowa Health Foundation and the United Way of Central Iowa. All share the realization and awareness of the current lack of services,” said Anne Starr Orchard Place CEO.

More information regarding will be forthcoming during the months ahead.
