About the Early Childhood Mental Health Endorsement (ECMH-E):

ECMH-E opens a career path that acknowledges that understanding what happens in pregnancy and the first three years is critically important to work effectively with 3 to 6-year-old children, their caregivers, and their families. It also assures on-going professional development that covers pregnancy, infancy, and early childhood, as well as reflective practice. We are delighted to announce the Iowa Association for Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health (IAIECMH) is moving forward with launching the Early Childhood Mental Health Endorsement in Iowa. The 4-member leadership cohort will be completing their applications for Endorsement in 2022. All IAIECMH members will have access to applying for the Early Childhood Mental Health Endorsement by January 2023.
