Orchard Place is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization in Iowa and is a nationally recognized leader in children's mental health and juvenile justice services. Our team of over 400 highly-trained specialists is dedicated to the children and adolescents of Iowa. At Orchard Place, we have been working closely with the youth in need, successfully using compassion and care to help them develop strong futures.

We’ve had countless success stories and we couldn't do it without your support. Making a gift to Orchard Place allows us to respond to the ever-changing needs, and your mental health donations help us serve nearly 9,000 Iowa children with emotional and behavioral challenges every year.

General support gifts provide funding for expenses and services that our public sources of funding and insurance do not cover, such as transportation for families to attend family therapy sessions, summer programming for children in residence at Orchard Place Campus, furnishings for our residential facilities, special programs and other developing needs of children. Monthly Giving Partners are a special group of loyal donors, providing recurring support to help further our mission. Monthly donations are an easy and flexible way to help youth challenged by mental health issues and emotional disorders. Your monthly donation, no matter the size, will help us serve more children in need.

Becoming a Monthly Giving Partner at Orchard Place is easy and affordable, efficient and 100% tax deductible. On the donation form, simply choose the amount you want to donate each month and select “monthly” in the occurrence dropdown. Rest assured, you can adjust your donation amount at any given time by calling or emailing our team at Orchard Place. Honor & Memorial Donations for Mental Health Services

Wondering what to give the person who has everything? An honor gift is a wonderful way to acknowledge a friend or family member while making a donation to positively impact the lives of Iowa kids. Support our local nonprofit organization and make a donation in honor of a loved one to Orchard Place.

A memorial donation continues the legacy and memory of a loved one and makes an immediate impact on the lives of children served by Orchard Place. Making a donation in memory of a friend or family member can be just the right way for expressing compassion to someone who has had a loss. Your memorial donation will help us continue to inspire hope and contribute to the well-being of Iowa children challenged by emotional and behavioral issues.

When making your gift, please indicate the name of the person you wish to honor and provide a mailing address on the contribution form. Orchard Place will send a notification of your generous remembrance to the individual or individuals memorialized or honored (your gift amount is not disclosed). We are happy to share overall gift totals, if requested. To confirm that Orchard Place has received your gift and for tax purposes, you'll receive a letter documenting the gift amount.

Donate and Become a Children’s Champion

Children's Champions are a core group of committed and generous individual Orchard Place donors who make annual gifts of $1,000 or more to help children with mental health issues and emotional disorders. This group of donors are our most passionate and dedicated supporters, exhibiting an extraordinary commitment to our Iowa-based nonprofit, the mission of Orchard Place and the children we serve.

Donations for the kids at Orchard Place can be one-time or spread throughout the year. Children's Champions can easily set up monthly giving and have contributions automatically deducted from their credit or debit account. Children's Champions also enjoy special recognition and benefits including:

• Name listed on Orchard Place website (may remain anonymous, if desired)
