Integrated Health Program at Orchard Place

925 SW Porter Avenue • Des Moines, IA • 50315

The goal of the Integrated Health Program at Orchard Place is for all children facing behavioral and emotional challenges to be successful in their home, at school and in the community.

Mental or emotional problems your child may be facing that will benefit from an Integrated Health Program include:

  • Depression

  • Bipolar Disorder

  • Autism

  • Anxiety

  • OCD

  • ADHD or autism diagnoses can qualify if there is another co-occurring diagnosis such as depression, anxiety, etc.

We know behavior problems and emotional issues can cause stress for entire families. Finding help or even finding the time to find help often seems impossible.

The Orchard Place Integrated Health team finds the best care for your child based on their mental health needs. We work with you to better understand what is going on in your child's life to help find solutions. Your family helps us understand the goals you want to be met, the involvement needed from the Integrated Health Program, and which care providers will work best based on your child's situation.

We then work with other providers to ensure our services are well matched to help meet your child's emotional, mental, and physical health goals. The Orchard Place Integrated Health Program builds bridges between your child's mental and medical health providers so everyone involved will partner as one team for your child.

The Integrated Health team will provide you with an understanding of your child's mental and physical health needs, and will focus on putting an Integrated Health Program into action in your home.

Your child is eligible for Orchard Place's Integrated Health Program as long as you live in Polk or Warren County, your child is 17 years old or younger, has been diagnosed with a mental health issue at home, in school or in the community, and is eligible for Medicaid.
