Youth Served by Orchard Place

Each year, the experienced and compassionate staff at Orchard Place works with around 8,000 children and adolescents of all ages from all over Iowa who need individual help and support. Our goal is to help develop strong futures for children suffering from mental illnesses, behavioral health challenges, substance abuse issues, severe trauma and more.

Our programs strive to focus on more than just day-to-day lives, and to help youth develop strong futures by breaking the cycle of letting mental illness and trauma stifle their ability to succeed.

Mental Illnesses and Behavioral Health Issues

Orchard Place Campus seeks to meet all of our young clients' needs with individualized treatment and services through a multidisciplinary approach to psychological care. This collaborative effort helps children with serious psychological illness reclaim their lives and works with families to help reintegrate these youth into their home communities.

Living with or caring for a child who suffers from a mental illness or has emotional and behavioral challenges can sometimes feel overwhelming. With the help the expert mental health staff at Orchard Place, you are not alone. Orchard Place treats a variety of mental illnesses and behavioral health challenges in children and adolescents. We know behavioral and emotional challenges put stress on entire families. Finding help or even finding the time to find help often seems impossible. With Orchard Place, our goal is to not only help youth in need, but to get families the information and resources needed to be successful at home.

Eligibility

Orchard Place serves Iowa youth, both males and females, birth to 18 years old and their caretakers. Fees are based on the cost of the service. Fees, subsidies and co-payments differ for every child depending on insurance, gross income, geographic location and size of a family.
