Making a gift in general support to Orchard Place allows us to respond to the ever-changing needs to help more than 10,000 Iowa children with emotional and behavioral challenges every year.
Your gift helps us to provide a wide array of mental health services and supports, providing the right service at the right time and offering state-of-the-art treatment by our more than 400 highly-trained and committed employees.
General support gifts provide funding for expenses and services that our public sources of funding and insurance do not cover, such as transportation for families to attend family therapy sessions, summer programming for children in residence at Orchard Place Campus, furnishings for our residential facilities, special programs and other developing needs of children. Gifts of all sizes are appreciated and will be put to good use.
A gift for any purpose can be made in memory or in honor of a special person or event. When making your gift, please indicate the name of the person you wish to honor and provide a mailing address on the contribution form. Orchard Place will send a notification of your generous remembrance to the individual or individuals memorialized or honored (your gift amount is not disclosed). We are happy to share overall gift totals if requested.
Orchard Place is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization and contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. To confirm that Orchard Place has received your gift and for tax purposes, you'll receive a letter documenting the gift amount.
Should you have questions, please contact the Orchard Place Development office at 515-287-9610 between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM Central time, Monday through Friday.
